-
What if my nail is too big or too small for the nail wraps?
If your nails do not fit exactly to any of the sizes of nail wraps, you can use the next size up and trim the wrap down to fit your nail bed. We recommend using a wrap that is just smaller than your nail to avoid the wraps touching skin or cuticles. Using a wrap that is too large and over laps onto your skin or cuticles may cause lifting at the edges.
-
Do I have to use a mini-heater to apply my Jamberry nail wraps?
You must use a heat source when applying your Jamberry nail wraps. We recommend using our Jamberry Mini-Heater, but you may also use a blow-dryer or other safe heat source.
-
What do you mean by "correct" application?
- Applying the nail wraps to a clean dry nail, free of nail polish.
- Using enough heat.
- Using enough pressure.
- Making sure the nail wraps is solely on the nail bed and not the cuticle or skin.
- Making sure the edges of the nail wraps are sealed to the nail.
-
Do I need to apply a base or top coat?
You do not have to apply a top or base coat when using Jamberry nail wraps. If you have bumpy or uneven nails, you may want to use our Jamberry Smoothing Base Coat or other ridge filling base coat. If you're very active you may consider applying a thin line of nail glue along the edges.
-
My wraps are starting to lift, but have only been on a few days. Can I re-heat them to seal them back to my nail?
If your wraps start lifting after only a few days they may not have been applied correctly. A proper application will ensure longer wear time. Re-heating may not help seal them to your nail. We recommend removing the nail wraps and applying a new one, paying particular attention to the application process. Click HERE to view our Application & Removal and Tips & Tricks videos.
